Abteilungsleitertreffen 2026

Am 29. März 2026 fand in der Außenstelle Kairo das jährliche Abteilungsleitertreffen statt. Es konnten Leiter/innen und ihre Vertreter/innen von insgesamt 15 Abteilungen aus Kairo, aus Oberägypten und aus dem Nildelta begrüßt werden.

Nach der Eröffnung der Veranstaltung durch die Außenstellenleiterin Dr. Wiebke Bachmann informierte Dr. Manuel Junge, Programmkoordinator Germanistik/DaF, über die für das Jahr 2026 geplanten Veranstaltungen, über Förderprogramme und die Lehrkräfte-Vermittlung. Anschließend wurden weitere Förderprogramme vorgestellt, für die Wissenschaftler/innen der Germanistik antragsberechtigt sind: Nermine Abdelaty, Projektkoordinatorin COSIMENA, stellte die COSIMENA Partnerships vor; Mohamed Fathy, Koordinator der DAAD Kairo Akademie, informierte über Workshopsangebote und Stipendienprogramme für Doktoranden und Postdoktoranden.

Wir danken den Abteilungsleiterinnen und -leitern für Ihr Kommen und den anregenden Austausch. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen bei den für 2026 geplanten Veranstaltungen und auf zahlreiche Anträge im Rahmen der vielfältigen Förderprogramme des DAAD.
