M.Sc. in Chemistry, Engineering, Sustainability
Master Programme „Chemistry: Materials, Engineering and Sustainability”
The international Master’s Degree Programme “Chemistry: Materials, Engineering and Sustainability” is aimed at graduates of Bachelor’s degree programmes with a strong focus on materials chemistry or process engineering subjects. The course offers a high degree of freedom of choice of subjects and is divided into two specializations.
In a more chemically oriented focus, students are familiarized with chemical aspects of the development, characterization and application of materials, such as polymer materials and biomaterials or materials for energy storage systems.
In a technical specialization, on the other hand, the focus is on the analysis, modelling and development of chemical-technical production processes or energy conversion processes.
The content taught in both specializations is rounded off by the consideration of ecological, economic and energy aspects as well as the associated life cycle analysis.
In addition, modules for learning German are integrated into the curriculum.
