The event aims to discuss the following questions:
- Opuntia fruits and their nutritive value and health-promoting benefits, including antioxidant, antiulcerogenic and antiatherogenic traits
- creating a multidisciplinary forum of discussion on Opuntia cactus with special emphasis on its horticulture, postharvest, marketability, chemistry, functionality, health-promoting properties, technology and processing.
Target Group:
Researchers and Scientists working in the field of biochemistry, agriculture, food science, nutrition and higher education from Germany, Egypt and the MENA region.
