German Science Days 2026

If you are a PhD candidate with who finished your master’s in the last 5 years, or a Postdoc candidate interested in further pursuing your research journey in Germany, this is your chance to sign up to the German Science Days!

The DAAD Regional Office Cairo invites you to participate in the German Science Days 2026, which will be held on 15^th & 16^th of September 2026, in the framework of its project “Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa” (COSIMENA).

Technical University of Berlin, represented by Prof. Dr. Boris Heinz (Community Energy & Climate Change), Prof. Dr. Fontina Petrakopoulou (Sustainability Research), and Christina Stahlbock, who will present study and research opportunities at TU Berlin.
Freie Universität Berlin , represented by Hoda El-Mahgoub, Prof. Dr. Carola Richter (Media Systems), and Dr. Ahmed Hassan (Pharmacology & Toxicology).

PhD candidates “Last master’s degree should not be older than 5 years”
Post-doctoral candidates

All candidates of the above target group residing in Egypt who are interested in pursuing their academic career in Germany are welcome to apply.
