German Science Night

Since 2017 COSIMENA has been offering the German Science Night annually during Ramadan. This event is inspired by the German initiative “Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften” (long night of sciences) where universities and other research institutions simplify and share scientific ideas with the public in an engaging and entertaining manner. The DAAD Regional Office Cairo along with their cooperation and network partners aim to create a unique experience sparking interest and curiosity focusing on scientific topics and making knowledge and research more approachable. Individual formats such as talks, exhibitions, interactive workshops, documentary and short movie screenings or the opportunity to participate in a science slam invite everyone to discover, invent and experience fascinating insights from the world of science. Furthermore, this event is a great opportunity to learn more about the DAAD and its network.
