How to Participate
1. For Individuals
Upcoming Modules:
Module announcements are published on our Facebook page as well as in the news section on the homepage of our website.
Selection Criteria:
- Candidates should be scientists, academics or admin staff working at a governmental or private university or research institute in Egypt (or affiliated to these institutions) as well as admin staff of ministries.
- In the application form linked to the announcement, candidates are required to explain in a free-text section why they wish to attend the training module.
- Candidates must belong to the target group specified for the module (Master’s students, PhD holders, or postdoctoral researchers).
- Candidates should have a very good command of the English language.
- Undergraduates can be accepted exceptionally after referring to the DKA Coordinator.
How to apply:
To apply, kindly fill out the registration form shared in the corresponding module announcement.
Benefits
- Participants take part in a one-day module with intensive training in the selected subject.
- Modules are delivered by experienced experts, many of whom are DAAD alumni.
- Participants receive a certificate of participation.
2. For Universities or Research Institutions
As a representative of a university or research institution, you may apply to host a DAAD Kairo Akademie (DKA) module at your organization for your team.
