Back to Educational Fairs in Presence
While digital fairs certainly have advantages, such as the availability of web sources, the simultaneous counselling of multiple visitors through chat windows as well as the possibility to visit the fair from home, we were very glad about our first opportunity to be physically present at the fairground of the EDUGATE fair from 8th until 10th of March 2022. Together with exhibitors from all over the world engaged in the area of higher education and scientific research, the DAAD Regional Office Cairo has contributed to an informative and inspirational event aiming at the internationalisation of the Egyptian study and research landscape as well as the promotion of study stays abroad. We are looking forward to meeting more people during this inspiring fair in the year 2023! Our team is ready to advise the interested target groups on how to engage in academic activities in Germany.
Yet another occasion for participation was offered by the second edition of the EduWeek – an educational fair taking place from 22nd until 28th of March targeting Undergraduate students and being conducted in the renowned Bibliotheca Alexandrina. In the framework of the event, various institutions from the field of higher education as well as Egyptian universities presented themselves to interested undergraduate and high school students. Many of them would like to pursue their studies abroad. Despite bad weather conditions in the city at the North Coast, numerous students found their way to the EduWeek and also to the booth of the DAAD Regional Office Cairo. We are thankful for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to the visitors of the EduWeek and we are looking forward to our participation in the third edition of the fair next year.
