Egyptian-German Research Matchmaking Event

The DAAD Regional Office Cairo invites you to participate in “Egyptian-German Research Matchmaking Event”, as part of the COSIMENA Funding 2025. The event is organised in the framework of the DAAD project “Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa” (COSIMENA), and in cooperation with the Freie Universität, Technische Universität Berlin, and Philipps-Universität Marburg.

The agenda of the event includes the following perspectives

Information Sessions: Learn about funding schemes supporting Egyptian-German academic cooperation
Expert Panel Discussion: Engage with leading professors from both countries on cross-cultural research challenges and opportunities
Thematic Workshops: Dive into focused sessions tailored to your field

Target Group

Academic Staff (PhD until Prof.-Level) from Egyptian Universities and stakeholders from the research and development community who are interested in science cooperation and like to learn from best practices.
